Good News for Arts Alliance of Woodbury’s Yuletide Celebration of the Arts

All are welcome on Wednesday, 11th of December from 7:00p to join the artists, authors, performing artists, poets, producers and the many patron members of the Arts Alliance of Woodbury for their annual Yuletide quarterly celebrating the arts community of Woodbury.  

After the great success of last year’s event, the event will again be held at the Good News Restaurant and Bar.    Convivial mingling and complimentary festive nibbles  will kick off the evening.   After a social period the evening’s emcee , President of the AAW  David Bibbey  will introduce one of AAW’s newest members, Mark Genest, a singer in the beloved barbershop group of The Valley Chordsmen.   Mark has enlisted a quartet ensemble of the Valley Chordsmen to treat the party goers  with a selected performance their festive pieces.   

The event is free to members including those  who sign up on the night.  For non members,  a pre-registration of  $5 contribution is requested or $10 at the door.  A cash bar is available on the night.  Details at

The Arts Alliance is also proud of its ongoing show of its Inaugural Members Exhibition currently running for the month of December at the newly renovated Woodbury Library Gallery.   The Exhibition – featuring the work of 27 member artists – will continue to show at the Woodbury Library Gallery until the 29th of December.   Works being featured include many from nationally recognized fine artists and include works in oil, watercolor, acrylic, graphite, mixed media collage, photography, mosaic, costumery and wall sculpture.  

To support the work of the AAW and participate in these and other events, new members and or donations are welcomed.   A contribution of $20.00 per household per calendar year is asked for annual membership.
